Mustang senior “tumbling” way to college

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- On Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, LRHS senior Ashlynn Voorhees signed to Converse College on an academic and athletic scholarship. Voorhees is 17 years old and an athlete. “After my gymnastics career ended due to injuries, acrobatics and tumbling was a perfect replacement. (LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Halloween weekend, the LRHS Mustangs excelled at the FHSAA 4A District 13 cross country championships. The girls finished in second place, with their top runner, Grace Marston, finishing first with a time of 19:02.41. Second went to Aurora Melzer with a time of 19:08.57. LRHS Pit Crew lets students help students

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS has a new elective this year known as the Peer Inclusion Team, or Pit Crew. This elective is designed to help Mustangs in the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) program with their schoolwork. There are currently over 60 Mustangs involved in the course who go to different classrooms and help assist the ESE students.
